As part of her self-care routine, she enjoys taking care of her plants, practicing reiki and meditation, working out, and coaching volleyball.

At the Marriage Point, Lauren facilitates healing conversations to help couples grow in communication, love, and trust. She believes love is the most powerful force on earth, and there are real and measurable ways to overcome obstacles getting in the way of her clients happiness.

Clinical Focus

Lauren’s clinical focus is to provide a holistic wellness approach to couples and individual therapy. She is a Certified Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapist. Lauren helps her clients find balance in all areas of life. Her greatest strength as a therapist is her authenticity, compassion, and trust in the therapeutic relationship. She is committed to helping the couple as a whole, while using a strength-based approach to enhance the positive qualities in each individual. Lauren specializes in mindfulness training, wellness work, and stress reduction and implements this with her work with couples. She believes that learning about mindfulness and engaging wellness and self-care practices, including meditation, improves mental and emotional health disorders and is an important part of treatment for anxiety, depression, stress, couples issues, and substance abuse. Wellness looks at balance, and the mind-body connection. She believes that engaging in these practices is vital to both individual and relational healing and growth.

Another passion of Lauren’s is working with women who are experiencing phase of life problems. Changes or phase of life problems include marriage, divorce, ending a relationship, starting a new relationship, moving, changing jobs, job loss, grief, health issues, chronic pain, injury or illness, loss of friends, death, tragedy, being in a traumatic relationship, creating a healthy sense of self, identity, change in roles and responsibilities. When a life change hits, it’s important to talk to someone who can help navigate those waters with confidence, nurturing, and loving-kindness. She loves to work with clients to empower them, to increase their self-esteem and self-love for themselves, heal past hurts, and help them create a life they love. Lauren wants to help women with the most important relationship of all– the relationship with self – cultivating self-love and self-care.
