About Leanne Jimenez, APC, ADHD-CCSP

Leanne is a Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. She received her Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science from California Baptist University and her Master in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Leanne is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and has extensive training and experience in working with adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. In her Bachelor program, Leanne served and volunteered at the local Pregnancy Center where she was able to provide counseling to women and couples. While in her Masters program Leanne gained experience in both private and public sectors where she worked with individuals, children, and couples. Once graduated, Leanne furthered her experience with couples and individuals struggling with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, communication, and co-occurring disorders. Consistent with GA Rule 135, Leanne is under the supervision of Julie Spurling, LPC and under the direction of Lana Banegas, LMFT.

Leanne is originally from California and has recently moved to Georgia. She is looking forward to putting down strong roots for her family in the beautiful south. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, reading, fishing, and camping. 

Clinical Focus

Leanne is passionate about helping her clients live their best life. With trust at the center of the therapeutic relationship, she strives to make the therapy session a safe place to be heard, understood, and to grow. She believes that therapy should be as unique and specific as the client, that means that therapy goals will be made specifically for the client to best help them based on their strengths, weaknesses, and personality. She is a Certified Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapist and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider and has extensive training in working with adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD). Leanne is especially passionate about working with ADHD in the couples relationship and helping the couple dyad understand ADHD, manage ADHD symptoms well, and thrive in their relationships. Leanne uses Emotion Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method in her approach to treatment, and continues to develop her professional understanding by consistently engaging in trainings in the latest evidence-based methods.

Fee & Insurance Information

Leanne does not directly participate with any insurance network. However, she is able to provide a Superbill which can be submitted for reimbursement with health insurance companies.
