About Felicia

Felicia is a graduate of the University of North Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and a Masters degree in Counseling. She has experience working in community mental health with couples and individuals from ages 12 to 75. She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, communication skills, and life transitions. Felicia has always had a passion for helping others strengthen their relationships and achieve personal growth. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Clinical Focus

Felicia considers being a part of her clients’ journey of growth, an honor and strives to create a space of safety and trust to facilitate that journey. She believes in meeting clients where they are as the experts of their own lives, with a deep understanding that counseling looks different for each individual and each couple. She finds true joy in being able to help couples to strengthen and better understand their relationships. Felicia is passionate about healthy communication in relationships. She enjoys teaching couples how to express their needs to one another in a healthy and effective way. She helps couples achieve their goals through encouraging self-reflection and the evidenced-based interventions of CBT and the Gottman Method, keeping open and honest lines of communication with each client and couple. Felicia works from a Solution-Focused framework, supported by evidenced-based CBT practices. She also uses Internal Family Systems and Existential therapy frameworks with clients.

Felicia is under the supervision of Myra Muckle, LPC, CPCS, CCTP, and is under the direction of Lana Banegas, LMFT, CST.

Felicia does not directly participate with any insurance network. However, she can provide you with all necessary documentation which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
