For over 10 years Lana worked in the corporate setting as a consultant and is experienced in working with global organizations and clients.  After leaving the corporate world to hone in on her calling to reach marriages and serve as an instrument of transformation for relationships, she founded a counseling center in Marietta, GA where she works with individuals, couples and families. Additionally, Lana trains and consults church and community leaders on topics such as spirituality and community, parish relationships, and marriage. She has spoken on topics relating to marriage, sexuality and relationships.

One of the most rewarding feelings for Lana is witnessing couples experience profound change in themselves and in their relationship and watching them flourish in their personal and professional lives. Lana is committed to providing the best possible care for her clients by regularly attending training seminars and staying up to date on the latest research in the field of psychology and marriage and family therapy. In her free time, Lana loves spending time with her husband and three children. She enjoys cooking, hiking, playing boardgames and taking time for a little pampering via a massage and a good pedicure. Lana is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian and is able to provide services in these languages to both couples and individuals.

Clinical Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Lana is uniquely trained to treat people within the context of their relationships. During therapy she works with couples and individuals to help them cultivate a sense of purpose, heal from their painful past, and become more present with themselves, their loved ones and their communities. She believes in whole-person healing and thriving. This includes, the mind, body and spirit; as well as the couple, the parent-child dyad, the family, and the community. Lana takes a values-based approach to working with families, couples, and individuals and challenges her clients to lead lives of purpose and authenticity.

Lana’s specialty is couples therapy and sex therapy. Integrating her spirituality and faith into treatment, as appropriate, Lana works with couples on the brink of divorce as well as with couples who are wishing to move their relationship toward deeper intimacy. She enjoys helping couples who are facing sexual and emotional intimacy challenges, and those who are working to integrate their sexuality and spirituality. During the course of sex therapy Lana works with couples and individuals to help them address concerns such as: desire mismatch, erectile dysfunction, orgasmic difficulties, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, painful intercourse, and helps couples explore their individual eroticism and authentically integrate it into their relationship. Lana has treated couples for a variety of concerns including sexual difficulties, affair recovery, perpetual conflictual interactions, parenting concerns, emotional intimacy, barriers to healthy communication, and life-work balance.

Lana is experienced in working with couples in inter-racial and inter-cultural relationships. She is well-versed in cultural nuance and issues of immigration, integration, and the intersection of culture and the extended family.

Lana works with individuals to help them improve their self-image, and get in touch with their unique purpose and calling. Additionally, Lana works with entrepreneurs and professional women and men in order to help them identify the psychological barriers that may be blocking their professional growth and development.
